MISSION: The Committee monitors and maintains both the 33 acre property owned by the Association as well as the Association’s 17 acre pond. The grounds inspection and monitoring includes:

* Posting (or replacing) signs,
* Inspect and maintain the safety of the play grounds,
* Assure the natural trails that surround the pound are open and available for everyone,
* Monitor the bridge for safety,
* Maintain both entrance signs, including lighting,
* Inspect the overlook benches,
* Maintain the dog refuse stations,
* Inspect the hired ground maintenance performance (mowing, edging, trash pickup, etc.)

For the pond, the Committee inspects and monitors:
* The wellness of the pond and stocks with fish, as needed
* Insure the pond pump is operational
* Provide chemical analysis of the pond as needed

The WPHA Pound and Grounds Committee reports to the WPHA Board via a committee Liaison on all ground and pond issues.
